“Bodyriot”

The idea for the film comes from the NRK ar- ticle “The Spider”, published 22.04.2018.

The article is about a man who exploits wom- en online via private information and photos. The film will challenge the threat the sharing of nude photos presents in today’s society, and remind us that a naked body is actually completely natural. At the same time as this threat is completely real, we also live in a time where body positivity is a big issue, and many people share photos of themselves with little clothing and encourage us to be happy with the body one has, regardless of defects such as pimples, cellulite and muffin tops. Nudity in art has always been normal, from ancient to modern times. Have we be- come afraid to show ourselves as we truly are in everyday life?
